AquaSymphony Celebrates World Water Day – 22 March 2024

On March 22, 2024, AquaSymphony proudly celebrated World Water Day with a series of engaging and educational activities focused on raising awareness about water efficiency and sustainable use. These events brought together students, teachers, and experts to discuss the importance of water conservation and its impact on the environment.

The celebration began with a Water Efficiency Seminar at Atatürk Primary School, where the School Health Department of the District Directorate of National Education delivered an insightful presentation on responsible water consumption. Approximately 200 students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in this seminar, gaining valuable knowledge about the importance of conserving water in daily life.

Later in the day, a Water Efficiency Presentation by Dr. Nurünnisa Usul was held at Balgat High School’s conference hall. Dr. Usul shared her expertise on sustainable water practices with approximately 150 students and teachers. The session provided attendees with an in-depth understanding of the need for water efficiency and practical ways to reduce water usage in various settings.

To make learning more interactive, a Kahoot Game on Sustainable Water Use was organized for 100 students from five different schools. This engaging activity allowed students to test their knowledge on sustainable water use while reinforcing key conservation principles in a fun and educational manner.

In total, around 550-600 students and teachers participated in these World Water Day events, which took place across schools, classrooms, and online platforms. The main objective of these activities was to promote water efficiency and raise awareness about sustainability through educational and interactive learning experiences.

AquaSymphony remains dedicated to fostering environmental consciousness and educating young generations about the importance of protecting the Earth’s precious water resources. Stay tuned for more initiatives focused on water conservation and sustainability!
