As part of our ongoing e-Twinning project, we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Dr. İhsan Çiçek from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History, and Geography for an incredibly insightful and inspiring presentation on climate change. With the full participation of all 11th-grade students, the event turned into a lively and enriching learning experience.
During the session, Prof. Dr. Çiçek explored one of the most critical global issues of our time in a clear and engaging way. The main topics he covered included:
-The natural and human-related causes of climate change
– Its impacts on ecosystems, weather patterns, and daily human life
– Potential future scenarios—and what actions we can take to change them
The talk encouraged many questions from curious students and opened the door to deeper discussions about sustainability, responsibility, and environmental action. Concepts like carbon footprints, global warming, and eco-friendly lifestyles became a lot more relatable and real for everyone in the room.
This event was not just a lecture—it was a call to awareness and action. Students walked away with a better understanding of how their choices matter and how they can be part of the solution.
A big thank you to Prof. Dr. İhsan Çiçek for joining us and sharing his knowledge and passion. And of course, a special thanks to our amazing students for their enthusiastic participation!
