As part of the Erasmus+ project “AQUASYMPHONY: Adaptation to Climate Change and Sustainable Water Use”, conducted in partnership with Italy, Turkey, Poland, and Romania, an engaging panel session titled “Water Footprint” was organized in Turkey under the eTwinning project “Aquasymphony.”
The event was hosted at Ayrancı Anatolian High School and brought together students to explore the concept of the water footprint—the total volume of freshwater used to produce goods and services consumed. The panel aimed to raise awareness of the hidden water consumption in everyday products and to encourage students to adopt more sustainable water usage habits.
As part of the eTwinning “Aquasymphony” initiative, this activity helped strengthen collaboration among partner countries while promoting student involvement in climate change education and environmental responsibility.
By focusing on real-world topics like water footprints, the project continues to support young people in becoming more informed, responsible global citizens in the face of environmental challenges.
