The kick-off meeting in Italy

The kick-off meeting of the KA210 Project “AquaSymphony: Adaptation to Climate Change and Sustainable Water Use” was successfully held in Rome, Italy. This project focuses on enhancing teachers’ awareness of the impacts of climate change and global warming on water resources, while also improving their competencies in sustainable water use.
The event marked the official launch of the project, with 10 dedicated teachers participating in the opening meeting. During this meeting, key discussions centered on strategies for promoting sustainable water use in schools and equipping educators with the necessary knowledge and tools to integrate climate change awareness into their teaching practices. Collaborative planning sessions helped establish the groundwork for future activities and initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of the project’s goals.
The project’s objective is to strengthen teachers’ knowledge and skills in climate adaptation and water sustainability education, which will ultimately empower them to educate students on the importance of preserving water resources and combating climate change.

International Teacher Train in Poland

10 – 12 September 2024

Within the scope of our project, a Learning Teaching Training Activity was held in Lodz, Poland. This three-day event focused on key topics related to climate change, water management strategies, social awareness, and education, providing participants with valuable insights into sustainable water use and its global implications.
The event featured detailed information sessions on climate change and sustainable water management strategies, helping educators deepen their understanding of these critical issues. In addition, workshops were conducted to foster social awareness and explore innovative educational methods to effectively teach students about the importance of sustainability.
On the final day of the event, the project team and participants from various partner institutions, including Ayrancı Anatolian High School (Turkey), ITIS Enrico Fermi High School (Italy), Colegiul National Matei Basarab High School (Romania), and Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu i Nauk o Zdrowiu University (Poland), came together virtually to celebrate the European Day of Languages. This celebration aimed to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and encourage the learning of multiple languages, emphasizing the importance of global collaboration.
The event’s objective was to enhance educators’ knowledge and skills in climate change adaptation, sustainable water use, and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. By sharing knowledge and experiences, AquaSymphony continues to strengthen international cooperation and promote sustainability-focused education.

Expert Invitation Training in Romania

5- 6 November 2024

Within the scope of our project a Learning Teaching Training Activity was held in Bucharest, Romania. This two-day event focused on water conservation and the integration of digital tools in education to promote environmental sustainability.
The event featured in-depth sessions on water conservation strategies, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of how to incorporate sustainable water use practices into educational settings. Additionally, workshops were organized to explore the role of digital tools in enhancing environmental education, highlighting how technology can be leveraged to better engage students and spread awareness about sustainability.
The event also included collaborative discussions on best practices for promoting sustainable water use in schools, providing participants with practical insights and ideas to implement in their own teaching environments.
A total of 17 teachers participated in this event, which was aimed at equipping educators with advanced knowledge and skills on water saving techniques and the use of digital tools in education for environmental sustainability.

Final Meeting in Turkiye

13 – 14 March 2025

As part of the KA210 Project “AQUASYMPHONY: Adaptation to Climate Change and Sustainable Water Use”, closing conference was held in Ankara with the participation of project partners from Italy, Poland, and Romania. The event, taking place over two days on March 13-14, 2025, featured presentations on the activities carried out throughout the project related to water conservation and environmental education.
On the second day of the event, a panel was held, where the President of the International Water Ambassadors Federation gave an informative speech, and two academics from Poland provided insights on the efficient use of water resources.
